A one-off piece created for weightlifting brand, Eleiko. The piece was originally meant for The Chip Shop Awards 'Best Ad Without A Visual' category, complying with the 'text-only' rule for the category. This was also driven for a personal passion for the brand, and what it stands for. I am an avid weightlifter and a member of BU Weightlifting, and is therefore a brand I am in constant witness of every day of the week.
This is an adapted piece of work. Changing it from a still piece, I thought turning this into an outdoor advertisement would be fun. Instead of needing to explain to audiences what Eleiko is, why not let the advertisement tell them? The animated image (above) is designed with the concept of it being on a big lenticular outdoor space, where passersby would have the opportunity to read the text and therefore understand what it is implying (rather than just flashing it in their face). The original (below) still stands.
