This Colgate print advertisement was done during the first semester of my first year of study at Bournemouth University. The brief asked for two main things: a description of the chosen brand’s positioning and industry data, and "a creation of an advertisement (for the chosen brand) – this can be created in the form of either: print creation, video clip, or online/digital advert."
Being the excited and giddy little student I was in my first year (granted, that was less than two years ago), I had ended up finding some of the timeless Greenpeace advertisements. What Greenpeace does well is illustrate a point simply and effectively. I wanted to take the same direction with this piece.
Having an apple a day to keep the doctor away made its rounds as a saying but nothing much brought the same touch to our ever beloved dentists. Here's my approach:
